Our COVID-19 Policy
Because venues and public spaces are opening up, many parents have been asking if we will be offering face-to-face classes. The absolute priority to us all is the health and safety of you, your baby and your family. We have put together this overview which clarifies our current position regarding delivering our classes.
We have been monitoring the government guidelines carefully. Venues that are usually hired for classes such as gyms, indoor play centres, community halls, schools and pubs/restaurants have opened up and so long as we can maintain a safe distance of 2m or 1m ‘plus’ between parents, classes can take place. Obviously, the restrictions can vary from area to area, so whilst some of our teachers are commencing to offer face-to-face classes, others are continuing online.
COVID-19 – risk assessment for face-to-face classes
All teachers and venues have undertaken a risk assessment and only if it is deemed safe will classes take place. Our teachers are certified in COVID-19 infection control and all classes and equipment will be fully sanitised and cleansed follow the highest of health and safety COVID-19 requirements.
Music & singing
Our classes will still contain many of the songs that you love! Our teachers will be wearing a suitable face covering such as a visor and all that we request is that singing be kept gentle and soft and focused on your babies. Guidance will be given to you by your local teacher.
As per government guidelines, we require that face coverings be worn in all communal spaces within a venue. As you and your baby are considered to be in one ‘bubble’ you do not need to face covering, so long as you are safely socially distanced from other parents. Your local teacher will give you guidance on this.
Mummy meet-ups & Whats App groups
Lots of our groups have been arranging safe and socially-distanced gatherings so that they can connect. We also set up WhatsApp groups where mums in the classes can still connect and support one another beyond their sessions.
You and your families matter
We are delighted to be able to offer face-to-face classes. However, we will continue monitoring the government and health and safety guidelines and if necessary we will move to online classes if is safer to do so.
Thank you for your ongoing understanding and support
