Hi, I’m Claire and I am part of the MamaBabyBliss Nottingham team covering Mapperley and Sherwood. I teach Pregnancy Yoga, Baby Massage and Baby Yoga classes.

About me

I was a primary school teacher before deciding on a career change with MBB to give me more time with my family. After all my girls are only going to be young once!

I am mum to two gorgeous daughters Chloe who is 4 (going on 14!) and Mia who is 1 (and just wants to do everything that Chloe does!), and have an amazing husband called Wayne.

I first found out about MBB by attending a MamaBabyBliss Toddler Yoga class, when Chloe was 1, and we both loved it. Chloe was born prematurely at 32 weeks so was always a little bit behind her peers, especially with her physical development. The yoga taught me loads of moves to do with her that helped strengthen her legs and develop her balance and coordination. By the time Mia was born she was already signed up for the whole curriculum!

What I love most about my classes is being able to provide a relaxed, calm, safe space for mums-to-be, mums, dads and babies to bond.  Many friendships form through supporting each other and being totally open and honest. Too many people feel they have to pretend everything about being a mum is great, when actually it can be really quite lonely and hard.  The amazing parts of my job include seeing the babies overcome common ailments such as colic and wind and improving their sense of balance, coordination and brain development.  Being there for many ‘firsts’ and having baby cuddles also make being a baby massage and baby yoga teacher very rewarding.

I teach Pregnancy Yoga in Mapperley, along with Baby Massage and Baby Yoga. I also teach Baby Massage and Baby Yoga in Sherwood. I offer private group sessions for Premature Babies who aren’t able to mix with other babies and also NCT group sessions on request.

*We provide everything you need to attend one of our classes including mats, cushions, towels, blankets and other yoga equipment. All you need to bring is yourself and your bump or baby.
