I have recently given birth to my son, who joins his sister and half-brother in our family. So, I am also very much in the full throws of motherhood and all that it entails.
I adore yoga and the feeling of peace it brings to my mind, body and spirit – something we all need in this busy world. I’ve lived and taught in Asia where a focus on yoga and meditation is encouraged as part of daily life, providing the tools to really connect with our mind and body.
I attended all the MamaBabyBliss classes myself, from pregnancy yoga to baby massage and then through to toddler yoga with my two youngest children. I remain firm friends with the mums I met during both pregnancies in these groups. These classes are an excellent way to feel held as a Mum and also to offer support and friendship to other mums too.
For 15 years I worked in various pastoral roles within education as a teacher, nurture teacher, special needs coordinator and also as Head of schools. I’m now passionate to be working in what I feel is the most important stage of it all, from Bump to Baby.
I currently offer pre and postnatal yoga classes. And later in the year I will offer baby massage, baby yoga and toddler yoga. Yoga and relaxation helped me prepare for birth, provided tools for use within labour and aided my recovery both mentally and physically after birth something which I’m forever grateful for.
I’m fascinated by all things pregnancy: birth and child/baby development and I am currently qualifying in an access to midwifery course alongside short courses in family aromatherapy and reflexology.
The classes are relaxed and all the many varied motherhood journeys are respected, celebrated and appreciated within each session. I am so looking forward to meeting each of you in one of my classes soon! Please do contact me with any and all questions or queries.
I started pregnancy yoga when I was around 30 weeks pregnant. I had never been to a yoga class before and I wasn’t very flexible or someone who was into exercise! However, Natalie convinced me to come along and said it would help my pelvic pain I was experiencing. Natalie is a warm, friendly, welcoming teacher who made a group of strangers feel like friends as we all shared that we were pregnant in common. We were all at different stages of our pregnancy however we could all do the moves and Natalie tailored certain ones for me for example I would sometimes sit on a chair so not to add any pressure to the pelvic pain I was already experiencing. I was worried that after the class the next day I would be in more pain than I was when I went to the class however after going for 2/ 3 weeks my pelvic pain had Eased quite considerably. I wasn’t a believer of pregnancy yoga before however after going to the classes it genuinely really helped me. I learnt all about different breathing techniques and positions to help when in labour which defiantly helped with my speedy two hour labour! I highly recommend these yoga classes!Kathleen
I wanted to say a huge thank you to Nat for the Yoga classes, I cannot describe how helpful those breathing techniques were during labour – and thank you for the encouragement to listen to my body.Sarah
I thoroughly enjoyed pregnancy yoga with Natalie. It was such a calming environment and my favourite part was meeting weekly with other mamas to talk all things baby. Natalie was a brilliant instructor and doing it while she was pregnant herself was beautiful to see. I am certain that these classes helped me to have a calm, enjoyable and natural labour without any stress. The yoga also helped me to maintain my fitness post pregnancy. I couldn’t recommend the classes enough.Francesca
