I’m Emily, MamaBabyBliss teacher for Leicester. I run classes in Pregnancy Yoga and Postnatal Yoga, baby massage, baby yoga, birth preparation workshops and daddy workshops.

I’m a lucky mummy to three boys. Leo is 5 Joel is nearly 2 and Noah is 5 months and we live in Kirby Muxloe. I’m passionate about all things birth and baby having really felt the benefits of Birth Preparation, Pregnancy Yoga, Postnatal Yoga, Baby Massage and Baby Yoga with my own little boys. Knowing first hand that becoming a mum can be a very exciting but also sometimes quite an emotional and anxious time. I love being able to support other mums on their journeys.
I think it’s really important to help parents have time to relax and bond with their babies and I enjoy giving them the opportunity to do this in my classes. I also think having a network of other parents for advice and support is essential and it’s fantastic to watch these new friendships develop in my classes. I know from my own experience having someone to share the highs and lows of motherhood with definitely makes it easier.
Having had 3 children I know the tools and techniques I share work. Pregnancy is exciting but often full of discomforts and anxieties. In my birth preparation workshops and pregnancy yoga classes the techniques taught can help prevent and alleviate common pregnancy ailments aswell as really equip parents for a positive birth experience.
Babies don’t come with a manual so once they arrive it can feel quite overwhelming. Our baby classes are a really safe way to start getting out and about. I teach you massage and yoga techniques to help you bond and have fun with baby. Ways you can reduce colic, improve digestion and promote deeper sleep. Having had a baby with reflux, one with colic and one with a severe tongue tie, I know exactly how difficult the early days can be and how helpful these settling techniques can be. We also make time for chat and refreshments so you get to know the other mums. Our classes are about you as well as your baby. In baby massage we cover different parenting topics each week to share tips and advice. Whilst in baby yoga, we do some mummy stretches as well as a lovely relaxation to help revive and restore you.
Finally I offer workshops just for Dads, Dads matter too. Its usually the mums who come to baby classes and its important for dads to have time to bond with baby too. In our dads workshops I teach some massage and yoga techniques to help them feel confident in calming and settling baby.
I offer both private and group sessions. No previous yoga or fitness experience is needed. All equipment is provided. All you need to bring is your bump or baby.
