A simple message to warm the heart…

On this grey and chilly Thursday, here’s a short little poem to remind ourselves how precious time is and how we owe it to ourselves and our babies, big and small, to take some time out! Hope it warms your heart – never fails to bring a tear to my eye!
“I hope my child looks back on today
And remembers a mother who had time to play.
There will be years for cleaning and cooking,
But children grow up when you’re not looking.
Someday I’ll do all the chores you can mention
But today, my baby needs time and attention.
So settle down cobwebs; dust go to sleep,
I’m cuddling my baby, and babies don’t keep.”
